In Southern Africa we are privileged to be able to utilise out outdoor space if not in our own gardens then in local parks or green areas. When last did you take full advantage of that? When spending quality time with family or friends there is no reason to be cooped up inside, having meals outdoors is an awesome idea. Have a look at some of our great tips to get you spending more time outdoors.

Whether it’s holiday season or just the weekend you should always try and spend some time outdoors, even if it’s just to eat a meal. In this article, we look at Picnicking!

PICNICS

Picnics are a firm favourite, especially if you have young kids. They are fairly simple to plan and can be set up without much effort. I know there is an image going through your head of a group of people sitting blanket on the floor. But let’s face it not all of us are cut out to sit on the floor, sometimes it can be too hard or too soft or just plain uncomfortable.

SEATING

At Creative Living, we have some fantastic scatter cushions that come in a variety of colours and designs to suit your taste. We also have a folding dining set that will make your picnic experience a pleasure.

No more achy backs or sore bums!

Mora Set

In fact with our Mora Dining set you can have a complete outdoor dining experience with a table and chairs. The beauty of the Mora Dining set is that it folds up and can be taken anywhere. The Mora Dining range includes a four-seater table, fold up chairs and fold up arm-chairs. They are lightweight as they are made from high-quality powder-coated aluminium and with a durable textiline fabric on the chairs and special hardened glass for the table top.

Picnics need not be limited to a certain time of day, they work well for any meal; breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack.
