With the festive season well upon us, we highlight some great things to celebrate even in these strained economic times. There is no time like the present. We are so lucky to live in such a beautiful country and a little reminder of what we sometimes take for granted is well worth celebration.

In Southern Africa we are privileged to be able to utilise out outdoor space if not in our own gardens then in local parks or green areas. When last did you take full advantage of that? Everyone knows that you don’t have to go far for a great picnic. Just make some sandwiches and snacks, lay a blanket on the lawn, and you’re ready … even if it’s just the usual fixin’s AND it’s your own home! Enjoying a few hours outdoors is easy – just invite over your favorite people, fill a cooler with some food and drinks, and enjoy yourselves in a casual but fun setting. After all, isn’t that what spring and summer are all about?
